Fire Retardant 6315 is a 1.6 oz medium weight cut away backing. This can be used in children's and infant wear and is great for industries concerned with fire safety issues such as fire fighters, police, first responders, motor sports, chefs, on lab coats and air, ground sea transportation.
Important: Flame-retardant tests should be conducted only on completely finished, embroidered work pieces, i.e. including the base fabric, bobbin, backing and embroidery thread - all must have undergone a flame-retardant treatment in order to achieve an overall fire-retardant effect.
