Quick Tear 2015™ is a 1.5 oz. medium weight tear-away backing that tears easily and cleanly. It is best used on heavy denim, canvas, caps, corduroy, cotton twill, hats, leather, lingerie, silk, sheets, sweatshirts, t-shirts, towels and robes. Tear-away backings should be used on woven materials that have little stretch and don’t need much stabilization, and in situations where the reverse side of the embroidery can be seen (towels,sheets…etc.) 2015 is a wet-laid backing which is best for embroidery because it doesn’t stretch in any direction.
